After GS new version, we will be able to support the full screen of iPhone X and iPhone X aspect ratio(19:9) will give us plenty of work to do.
For this reason I prepared a demo.
Pros: one rule, those who want to use fewer rules on their project.
Cons: because of the new origin x-y, each actor's position must be changed
What do you think? Is there a reason to not work on the real device?

Bump. Hard to say 100% until we can actually test it. I have my latest game work with overscan but I will need to detect iPhone x and move buttons for it....... Wont be able to finish until we can test it out........
Have to rethink design on new games as well. I dont think the iPhone X will go away any time soon.
I stopped at the apple store yesterday to look at some games on the new phone. Ten phones laying out and not one of them had a game loaded on them. Haha. Oh well.
I have the iPhone X and even though my game is set to "Stretch", the game is automatically letterboxed to fit the phone, so it doesn't take up the whole screen (same goes for "Overscan").
I'm guessing the GS staff will have to update on their end for us to take advantage of the full screen, but for now it doesn't seem like any changes to our games are needed.

I was wondering about that. Does it automatically letterbox all our builds on iPhone x? No matter if we choose overscan or stretch??
@Toque yes i published my game as stretched and overscan and both were automatically letterboxed on iPhone X

It might be solved now, since GS uses the latest SDK since yesterday. I think the problem was there, not in the camera settings or so of GS.
this is great but problem is the online service doesn't support iPhone X yet so even if you have the size right on the game salad app you can't upload it to apple untill they update the app processing services on game salad
the one thing i love about construct 3 is that it exports to a Xcode project and you can update the game using xcode with iPhone X support.
@pHghost yup I just published my game and looks like that change made my game full screen on iPhone X now

@unbeatenpixel yes I think the GS staff will need to add the iPhone C splash screen to the publisher for it to work
