NON-GAMING: App Development Engine (similar to Gamesalad)?

Hi GS Community!
Can anyone recommend an App Development engine focusing on non-games? Ideally, it would be similar to Gamesalad drag/drop setup but features purely focusing on Mobile APP and NOT gaming. I'm trying to build a calendar-scheduling app for the company im working at.

By the way there are some great employee scheduling services available Snap Schedule, Shift Planning, Deputy, Booker, When I Work
Some of them are even free.
Services like Schedule Head even have intelligent scheduling built-in and can text your workers, rate them, and setup a rewards system.
Some of these services aren't strictly employee scheduling and can be used in the broader sense of event scheduling with calendar integration.
