Spawn Randomly on iPad?

I am trying to convert my iphone game to ipad , everything is going great except i ran through a problem on the iphone version i made a rule to randomly spawn a character using 100 and 300

how can i convert this to ipad?

    erm.. change it to the something within the ipad screen size range.

    iphone is 480 x 320 ipad is 1024 x 768

    if you did 100 to 300 on the iphone then maybe 100 to 900 or so on the ipad.
