Moving an object slowly across the screen or from top to bottom slowly

Hi,
I'm new to GS. How do I get say a car to move slowly across the screen
or from top to bottom?

watch this if you want something that repeatedly scrolls across:

if you just want something that goes from one side to the other, similar concept, but add a rule to change self x velocity to 0 when the actor reaches a certain x position on the stage.
