App that accesses players' iPhoto library photos

Is it possible to build an App whereby the player can select photos from their own iPhotos library to be included in the game?

I'm sure there must be, but I haven't ever needed that functionality so I can't offer any specific options. If you did a little google research I'm sure you'll find something.
