Questions regarding isometric shapes

Im working on a puzzle game of sorts where players have to tap isometric tiles in a certain order. However, that brings up a problem where the actors overlap, thus creating issues where the wrong tile is tapped. I was curious to if anyone has an idea to get around this? Thank you!
