Starting my Game Dev "Career"

Hey all,
My name is Sam. I'm a longtime gamer who has always had ambitions to create my own games, but have never acted on it because I've been intimidated by programming. After some extensive comparison shopping of no or low-code game engines, GameSalad looks like an amazing place to start!
My one question is whether I should be using the web interface or the native app. Most of the learning resources seem to be based on the native app. Are there key differences between the two? Thanks in advance for your help!

good luck. hope you make some coin from it.
I think you'll hear grumbling about the web interface from veterans here, including myself. Partly, it's that we were used to the native app and the web interface does not improve on that or even match parity.
In fact, here's a poll I took that has pretty stark results:

But the idea of an online creator is a good one and I hope that they improve it in the future.

Thanks @bob loblaw and @tatiang !
@tatiang , with the native editor, is it possible to publish games that will look OK on modern devices? That's the only thing I'm worried about.
Absolutely. It's really just dependent on your graphic file quality and following a few rules about resolution (image sizes doubled, etc.) that can be found here on the forums. But that's no different whether you're using the native creator or the web version.

@tatiang thank you so much! I think I'll stick with the native app for now. It seems to be much more stable.
