Pixel type artists

Anyone know of anyone good who can do art in a really authentic pixel style?

I'm looking for someone who could maybe do ALL spectrum, c64, snes/megadrive type styles. Both static, and character animations.

    I should add, that's not in the style of any consoles or computers, just a generic "retro" image. When I want to emulate an authentic look I use actual palettes and sprite dimensions... eg a C64 sprite is 21x24 (odd, I know).

    I'd recommend checking out the forums over at Pixeljoint.com or pixelation.wayofthepixel.net

    You should be able to find a good number of pixel artists capable of doing the stuff you need.

    Polygame looks to have a pretty good grasp of pixel graphics though... :)

    @poly. thats very impressive. I can make the shapes like that but then the body would be silver and the canopy would be gold and it would look like crap.LOL. But, the shading on the wings and body make it look almost real. pretty good stuff

    Cheers :) I had a look at Sparky's game. Looks very cool, what I saw of it... I think it's out of my league, though :(
