My sprite is pixelated when I import it into Gamesalad, how to fix this?
@adent42 Hello, ?I would like you to please help me find a solution to my problem, I noticed when I imported my sprite into Gamesalad mac desktop version, my sprite has a lot of aliasing, I created my sprite with Adobe illustrator cc 2020 and I the export well in PNG 24 bits, when I look at the preview of my sprite from my Mac, the outline of my sprite is very smooth, not at all pixelated but when my sprite I import it in Gamesalad and I place it in the scene it's all pixelated instead of being good Smooth, it's full of aliensing. Is there an indispensable parameter that I would forget, I took you to help me, I do not want to design a games all pixelate, I find it ugly. If I can't find a solution to my problem I'll be forced to leave Gamesalad, I really hope you can help me with what I find Gamesalad great.

what size is the image?
generally when i make images, the finer the detail, the larger the canvas and resolution, and then i’ll try not to import anything to gs that is smaller than 128x128. i think gs then scales the image to a 72px version, but i’m not 100% on that.
are all your image dimensions divisible by 4 (ie, can be halved twice to whole numbers)? from memory that helps too, as does keeping to binary values (4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 etc). something to do with how they use memory more efficiently.
@bob loblaw My sprites created with Adobe illustrator I made at 2048x2048 pixel 72 dpi exporter in 24-bit png.
Are you reducing the size of the sprite in GS once it's imported, since it's so large to start out at 2048 x 2048? Try saving and importing it at the actual size you'll need it in GS and see if that helps.

@bob loblaw @jamie_c Hey no I didn't think about resizing after importing my sprite, I'll try this after I come back to tell you if my sprite is still pixelate or not, thank you very much to all the helps.
@bob loblaw @jamie_c I resized my sprite after I imported it into Gamesalad but that did not solve my problem, my sprite is very pixelated, maybe I am not doing the right thing to resize my sprite? What is the best way to resize my sprite if you like?
@Freddy666 I'd try importing the sprite at the actual size you need it. So if you want your final actor in Gamesalad to be 128 x 128 pixels, import an image of that size into Gamesalad.

@jamie_c Thanks for your help I will test this and I will tell you if it goes
There may be something with the bitdepth too. Try it with both 32-bit and 8-bit versions and see if you see any improvement?
