How to create logic to dig through dirt

Hello,

I need help figuring out a way to show a character digging through the underground dirt. Similar to the picture attached. Is there a way to show something like this in gamesalad? Your help is much appreciated.

Hello,

That image looks like its Grid based. So you would remove square by square. Completely possible in GS.
