Performance issues in Creator - Windows 10

Hello, I am running GameSalad Creator on my Windows 10 laptop and I've been having some issues.

I'm part way through a making a new game. But within a few minutes of opening my project file, the Creator starts running very slowly, and it usually force closes itself if I use it for much longer.

I've looked at the task manager as this happens and I've noticed the software starts using 1000MB of memory before closing itself.

I'm pretty sure this isn't normal as my project is not that large and GameSalad ran pretty smoothly on my old Windows 7 laptop.

Does anybody else have this problem?
