NewGrounds leaderboards?

I'm making a html5 version of one of my games to possibly upload on NewGrounds.

My game is very much an arcade style game with the main goal being to beat the high score. Since it's a score chaser, It has to have an online leaderboard, otherwise it would be not worth it.

NewGrounds seems to have a leaderboard API, but I'm not sure how to (or if it's even possible to) integrate it with a GameSalad game. I can't seem to find any step by step instructions online for this sort of thing so I thought I'd ask for assistance.

If there are any other (free) ways to have players submit their high scores on a html 5 GameSalad game, I'd love to know how to set that up. I would just use AppFormative because I already have an account, but the website doesn't work properly anymore.

    It's possible with the new APIs we've exposed for Legends of Learning, but you'd have to do that on your own for now.
