Counting Actors in a Scene (I am Freaking out)

I am trying to build a game thats sort of based on the "Where is Waldo" books.
You have to find items on the screen and when you found them all a photo will
be revealed.
For the Love of God I can not figure out how to create a counting system that when you
found all the items triggers the next scene or better yet reveals a picture underneath.
I read the book from Michael Garofalo twice, read all that I thought was relevant on the GS site..Nada.
Please see my sample file to better understand what I am talking about.
I know its me, I am missing something...just don't know what.
Game is called: Yorkie Time

Joe - did I not help you with this a while ago?

    What's the stumbling block?

Won't this help a little combined with a counting system?

Yes you did. And its not your fault but I cant make it work.
I will post a simplified example on my page right now.
Its just when you start out you don't understand a lot of things
that might be simple to you.
Like how do you place a self variable on the actor?
Please try to understand. Looks like I can figure out all the more difficult stuff
but the simple things can drive you nuts.
Please look at my Profile or under JoeMeister for "Counting Actors".
I simplified the Situation. Maybe you can download it and make some entries and
    e-mail it back to me.
Free final game for you and if you need like some other fellows on this site I can
    do German translation for you.
I know these are small offerings.

    Joe,

I've looked at it, but need an email address so I can send it to you.

Provide one, and your problems are over!

    QS :D

    Edit:

    I imagine you're asleep!

For when you wake up, I've uploaded the file here:

    http://gamesalad.com/game/play/76333

Don't need anything in return, other than allowing this to stay on my profile so that it might help others in future. I removed your image and replaced it with one of my own so you don't have to worry about it being nicked!

Remember that to download it you have to right click and 'save as' on the download button.

Then once downloaded, change it from .game to .zip

Double click the zip file, and the example should be available to open in GameSalad.

    Cheers,

    QS :D

Asleep I was. Waking up and seeing the problem was solved was amazing.
You lifted a big weight of my shoulders since this was the key function to
create my game. I was very close of giving up. THANK YOU.

Of course you are allowed to use this on your profile whichever way you want.

Again, a big THANK YOU for all your help.
