Anyone got any recommendations?
I know the basics. I want to learn advanced functions and what not, but it has to explain everything.
gshelper had a bunch of youtube tutorials i found very useful.
Yes tutorials are helpful, I got far by using them. But I would still prefer a book so I can read and learn things I may not search.

I here to tag @jamie_c but he has already posted! +1 for his book, Its the latest edition and most current (although a lot has changed since publishing) but certainly a great start for anyone new or even experienced developers. Dive in and treat yourself @realworthygames
