IAP restore

Hi, I have another IAP related question;

I'm only planing to have remove ads, can I put the mandatory "restore purchase" with the "buy item" in the same rule?

    i thought they were meant to be separate, the idea being if someone reinstalled the app on a new device, they didn’t have to purchase the same items again.

    i read somewhere a while ago that if someone deletes, then reinstalls an app, their purchases are still active on the reinstall, but google require the restore function there.

    You shouldn't do that. The operations are asynchronous, so the order could go:

    • Restore, wait for restore response
    • Buy
    • Get restore response and restore item
    • Fail buy because item is already bought

    They are meant to be called separately as separate UI.
