Can a game created with GS be published onto and sold on ROKU devices?

If its base is Android, should be possible (Since we can already publish to Fire Tv) What app store does it use?

Unfortunately not. The last time we looked, Roku used a proprietary language for their apps and we weren't able to get permission to do native apps on the platform. I could look into it again at some point to see if it's easier or if, as @uptimistik suggested, they moved to an android based system.

Yah, looks like we either have to rewrite our engine in brightscript (not happening) or we could try to compile for the IDK (independent developer kit), which lets you build native games for roku, but not for the store. They can only be side loaded (basically for hobbyist).
So that's a long way of saying, no, we won't support roku.
You use to be able to make Android-native games and apps. I still have a couple of old Roku free dev kits when they were encouraging android apps. Now the only option is brightscript.
