Lost all images : solution

I came across a solution that seems pretty reliable for fixing the lost all images problem - as long as you have a previously saved version.
By removing the .gameproj file extension from the file name it turns the project into a folder that you can navigate. Within it there is an 'images' folder. In the corrupted file the images will all be blank. Simply copy the images from a previous version and paste them in the image file of the current version. Then, add the .gameproj file extension back and you should be back in business.
I hope this helps

The other thing you could do is get the images from your previous version, open up the corrupt version and delete all images in the project from within gamesalad. Then just drag the non-corrupt images in from the folder.

I try not to save while gs viewer is running.
I only save in the editor.
FYI - if the images are showing up in your project after this fix, but not on your device (specifically, iPhone 4) check the image folder for @2X images that are still blank. If you delete these, gamesalad will re-create them the next time you try to test on a device and it will be resolved.
