Size of Screen Affect Game?

Does changing the screen size in Gamesalad to make room for your actors slow down your game?? I'm leaving the camera in the same place however I increased the size of my game to 600 by 500 just to have some more room.

    As far as I know this alone would have 0 impact on your game performance unless you increased your background art resolution. Even then you are talking about a minor change and the impact should be minimal if anything.

    Anyone else know better?
