I have never heard of a .gsuser file... Where did you download it from?

A .gsuser file is not a project .. This is a file inside the actual .gameproj .. hence no way to convert it

I have no clue why you would want that anyway...

Project files and templates do work cross platform. Simply create a blank file in the project folder and give it a .gsproj extension. Clicking this will open the project in the Creator for Windows.
