Hello world! This is Flag Battles! A capture the flag, 2d shooter. I haven't made much yet, but at least my character moves! Here are 3 pics of it so far. Like I said, not much:)

Oh! I need a little help with reloading levels too.
Really cool! Looks Very Decent. As I can see you have tried very hard on this project. I however think by the screenshots try to add detail in the platforms. also, make the logo larger. but I think you'll do great! Im currently developing a game. Called 1-Bit Bob. Its my first game too. ill post some screenshots soon.

Also, just a note, when tagging someone in a comment, put an @ before their user name then their username so they get a notification that you mentioned them. For example, if you were tagging me you wold put @ KillerPenguinStudios
(NO space between the @ and KillerPenguinStudios)

Thanks @KillerPenguinStudios! What I need help with is just reloading levels. I can do reload a reload scene button but my character will only respawn as an explosion(he explodes when dead).

It sounds to me that the big thing you are forgetting to do is when restart game is true to reset attributes to their original state. It's a little hard to help as I do not know how you set your game up but start with that. Hope that helps.

Okay, so I've seen other people post their game and when they do it, it is a finished project. I now know that you do this so that if you want to stop a project you can without releasing your game you said you would. Sorry
I will keep working on this game but after it I will only announce my game AFTER I'm done with it.

Actually, a lot of people post their work in progress games up to share with people and get feedback on it. Just change your title when doing so. Make the title of the post with the name of your game followed by WIP.
So for your post in regards to this game you would make the post title:
Or something along these lines (does not need to be written like that exactly). This will allow us to know the name of your game and that its a work in progress.
Hope that makes you feel better and keep it up and don't be afraid to ask for peoples opinions and feedback. This will help you in the end and with the end result, just as long as you can take and handle constructive criticism well!

Hello again! I finally finished it! Nine months, three days! Great learning experience too. So here is my first game

New update!
Changes:
Fixed a lot of bugs.
Added 'Lefty' control for lefties out there
Made the tutorial a little better by adding the 'Life + 1' item and updating the 'Show control screen'
Added a 'Show controls' screen
There is now a help button in the 'Pause' menu that shows controls and allows you to change whether you are right handed or left
Changed the end battle to be a little harder
Made sure you can see the GUI in the end in the fight room
Changed Votcox's life to 1500 instead of 1300 to make it just a little harder

I would find it easier if "W" = jump and "Space" = Shoot.
