Hello everyone,

An RTS game is where you lead your army into battle and where large battles take place. I've always enjoyed these types of games such as Starcraft 2 or Age of Empires, and I've always wanted to make one of my own.

Recently I was dreaming up how I could create a simplified RTS game using GS (kind of like ICE by ice cold muffin) but I always got stumped on how to get each individual "warrior" to target the closest enemy "warrior" to him instead of all the "warriors" attacking the same enemy.

I finally got around to giving it a try in GameSalad and it actually turned out fantastically. So I decided to share the raw mechanics with the GS community. :) I hope you all find some use for it. As you can see in the demo video below, this mechanic can probably be used in so many other app types besides RTS.
