Follow swipe motion?

in Working with GS (Mac)

I want to be able to swipe anywhere at the screen then have an actor move in the direction of the swipe relevant to the actors self position. Also I want the movement speed to be relevant to how fast you swipe. Any help would be very appreciated, if this is possible?
