    @Toque It's kind of cute, but I think it would only be useful for game developers or other creatives in multimedia.

    With GameSalad you could build a far better example that this. :) However, a comprehensive portfolio website would still be required and would be far more impressive.

    (By the way, my opinion is based upon experience as some years ago I was a Personnel Consultant for professionals in various fields, as well as corporate and government organisations.)

    True. Website is the practical way to go. I think the concept is adaptable.
