Help needed - Pinball Flipper + Ball

Hello All,
I was hoping someone could help me with something that I assume is very simple, but can't figure it out.
I have a flipper, and a ball.
How do I make the ball react to the flipper hitting it?
Is there a demo anywhere or a template?
The ball is at rest at the end of the flipper. I touch screen, the flipper will interpolate its rotation to 45. It collides with the ball and pushes the ball to the position.
What would I need to do to actually make the ball fly off in relation to the collision with the flipper?
Hope that make sense, this is all very new to me.

@tatiang Thanks - that the basic set up I have. But trying to make it so that when the ball isn't falling, it is just resting on the paddle, it will still shoot off when collide.
Looks like a paid template is the way to go for this.

Hi @Two.E - was it the paid template that got it sorted in the end, or did you crack it yourself please mate? - I tried getting some consistent, realistic pinball flipper logic sorted ages ago, but failed dismally, so I'm intrigued...

@Japster Bit of both. There is a $5 template by @BazookaTime on GSHelper, that will get you sorted.
(Its quite easy and simple. I was over thinking everything)

I used straight physics when I did my pinball game. Used gravity, applied friction et. Works great.

You could check this video and apply it to any surface you want the ball bounces on.
