Maybe this time...
Hello @adent42 ,
Every few years I'm making a post like this one, trying to ask for the ability to unleash the power of Gamesalad.
With what AI can do now, it's really make no sense not to open the engine to custom code/source code option for Gamesalad projects, LUA is great fit for AI.
Combine the ability of AI vibe coding with the simplicity of gamesalad and the ability to publish for mobile, and you have a winner!
Make this happen, I think this can be great for game salad.

We've actually built a chatbot to use with GameSalad but no custom code yet. It doesn't directly code to lua at the moment it still uses the engine as-is.
I'm mulling over a custom coding solution too, cause opening custom coding basically breaks the visual coding simplicity (i've got some ideas around that we're fleshing out).
But for now what we've built is:
We have some ideas about how to increase the power of pgfscript as well as make it so custom coding will slot nicely into the visual coding system gamesalad is know for.
The reason we don't fully open the engine to coding is that the kinds of things people want to add aren't usually in the Lua layer they're in the platform layer (ad networks, etc).
Stay tunded!
Let me know if you want to try it out bowlbot (it's still in development but I'm letting people try it as long as they know it might break things occasionally).
Got it, thank you for the answer, really hope it will work out and you'll figure out how to make it more "vibecoding" friendly.
I think it can be the perfect combo.
