    I see the problem. You might try making an integer attribute and a rule that says the integer has to be an even number for the new larger actor to spawn, and each collision increases the number by one

    I've thought of a way to solve this, but it doesn't seem to work: when the actor is touched I spawn another actor that overlaps everything (the size of the screen) and doesn't let touches passthrough.

    yes it will spawn on the icon because you told it too with this code "spawn actor 1 to mouse x and mouse y".

    Ok so i have it set to if game.enemy is greater than 0 then spawn enemy. but i guess it thinks to spawn all the enemies. How would i go about fixing this?e

    Make an actor called Spawn. Make another called Item. Make a third called Collide. Put Spawn and Collide on the scene. Put a rule in Spawn to make Item appear when mouse is down at the mouses X and Y.

    a basic way, Create inventory artwork with empty slots. when your player presses on an inventory item in-game, destroy the image, and then have the image spawn at the location of its inventory slot.
