Need help with scaling images

Stryfe01Stryfe01 Posts: 146Member
Hi guys. Can someone scale a few images for me? The problem I have is that the previous artist worked in flash, and somehow managed to not have the images for the different animations set at the same size. For example, one set has the ninja doing a double jump and one walking, but you can clearly see that the sprites are two different sizes. When you press jump, the character seems to shrink and miraculously come back to normal size upon landing. Help!

open image in your MAC application Preview...click Tools in the menuBar>>Show Inspector... and there is your info
then click Tools>> Adjust Size... and make your selection...either percent or pixels...

Reference the image that is the size you want and scale to that...

I would use Save As... in case I needed the original again.

Thanks MotherHoose. I was doing that, but I didn't know if anyone had a better way or a better eye.

and you want the second one in the list for SnowLeopard...
it downloads from sourceforge.net... and that is highly reputable
it is .dmg and you just drag to you appFolder

take a little time learning... but worth your while...
(I actually deleted PhotoShop from my system... and PixelMator...well I didn't throw out the install discs!)

I had only suggested the Preview.app as that is very easy to use... as long as you know what size you want.
