Having some problems publishing my app... I have a apple developers certificate and after pressing the publish button for the first time yesterday night on gamesalad, i get stuck on the second page of publishing.... When it comes to the Provisioning Profiles section.

I have uploaded my certificate and so on to my apple ID, where the status of which is 'issued'. Im i waiting for something to happen?

The cookbook video pretty much skims over this part of the publishing process, can some one point me in the right direction. Are there any videos out there that run through this and what im waiting....

Thanks all

    Have you created any provisioning profiles and have you published using an adhoc profile to test?

    If you have not done adhocs yet Its very important you do that first for a couple reasons.
    1. The game will play differently than the GS preview as well and GS viewer versions. Maybe not much but it can be completely different. So testing is really important.

    2 Building an adhoc is like a trial run of getting the publishing process down with distribution builds. Once you can flawless build an adhoc you will have no issues when you go to publish an iTunes version.

    It also sounds by your description that you have not even created your developer and distribution certificates and downloaded and installed those since they are required before you can even create provisioning profiles.

    Hi Philip, hope tenrdrmer's info helps.

    As for your thread title ending with "I'm stupid" all I can say is, despite using GS for almost two years or even more (I think) I still haven't got to your stage yet (though relatively soon hopefully....finally....). Anyhow, nearer the time, just wait for my questions I'm bound to have; you won't think you're the stupid one then!! ;-)

    @tenrdrmer Thanks mate, will give this a bash when i get home. I assume there are no guides or cook book video on this subject.

    Its seems very strange that GS is 'easy' (so to speak) and user friendly, yet the publishing part is fairly complicated (or at least lack of clear info on the topic).

    @gyroscope thanks for the support.

    to be honest. I started right here, Started with Getting Started and followed each step until I had a successful adhoc build. I think I may have had only one issue the whole way through and it was just a getting ahead of myself type thing.
