Waiting for review....Still

Player_EPlayer_E Member, PRO Posts: 604
My update has been waiting for review for 4 days now. Has anyone ever had this kind of wait just to be put in review? Something just makes me feel that apple has overlooked it. Should I reject the binary and try to re upload it?

Wow seems like GS has magical properties to it. If you complain about apple here it fixes your problem lol.

I literally checked the status of my update before making my post here. I then went back to the dev center to send them an email and noticed it was put in review.

    Nice

4 days is nothing by the way. It could be almost any amount of time. No rhyme or reason! Just got to roll with it.

i was just a little frustrated because my actual game only took 4 days from upload to be in the store so I was going nuts waiting for my update.

updates often do take longer for some reason. My guess is that apple feels that they have more to gain by getting more apps into the store rather than updating apps that are already for sale. So I am thinking that the probably put new apps ahead of updates on their "to do list".

I wouldn't reject the binary, as you are going to just have to start from the beginning again. I doubt things get lost.

Updates typically take longer than submitting a game.

I've been waiting for about 3 days now on an update myself

yup me too. I have been waiting 4 days for an update, but still nothing. It's kind of lame actually. Because the update is a fix for a highscore issue I'm having and I'm getting so many one-star review because of that issue!

For what it's worth we're into day 2 of "waiting for review" on a NEW (not updated) app.

Wow, five minutes after I posted it changed state to "In Review". Good stuff:)

I was 'In Review' & got rejected b/c I had 'Tower Defense' as a tag.... Some Lamo copyrighted it...Now I got to start all over in this darn process. This is BS!

Yeah, well, I had to resubmit because I forgot to check all load screen orientations..my first app is orientation agnostic, but oh well. It went pretty quickly the first time..but ive been "In Review" for about 2 days as well.

Has anyone written a "App Tracker" app yet? ;) Would be nice to get push notifications and a dash board of your apps.

Reviews can take up to 7 or more days to get to. My first game took 8 days to get reviewed and approved. 4 Days for either a update review, or a first time review is pretty good.

Yea my first update has been "waiting for review" for about 5 days now, counting weekends, which I'm not sure Apple reviews apps on...

It varies every time. I've had waiting for reviews that took 2 weeks but then only took 4hours to be approved and I've had waiting for reviews that only took 2 days but then was in review for like 4. You never know. if you ever have a date you are shooting for release and have a legit reason you can always ask for an expedited review but I doubt it really helps all that much.

Air Supply was submitted on Friday last week, and is still not even in review :(

I was hoping for a Friday release, but it may end up being next week :(

Oh, I get you now. You meant, I think, "For a big company like Apple, it has a fast review process"

    Whereas I read it as:

"For a big company like yours, Apple has a fast review line"

    My bad.

    Still, quite funny :D
