How should I limit the skill/action used based on combination of buttons pressed? Member Posts: 41

I'm thinking of how am I going to do it more directly than just random stuff happening whenever you press the buttons.
(my setup is a bit messy because it has no restrictions on the skills being used making the game boring).
(I've already made skill cooldown counters for this one).
I want to restrict some other skills being used, so that the players of this game I'm making would be challenged to when to do an action or skill.

The restrictions are active when you're on the ground or if you jump you'll have additional skill effect.
