On Android? Can you please take a look -

At my new app.

I've just tried to play it on my phone and the buttons are unresponsive on the first attempt of playing. I am wondering if the chartboost ads are causing issues here. If anyone could take a look and let me know please.

Once you've managed to play a couple of levels (I had to tap all over the screen/start buttons) to get to the levels, it feels like it almost 'warms up' and then everything works as intended - including loading the ad.

I didnt select to start an advert on loading, but the app still does. Everything appears to work on a Kindle fire and I am just wondering if its my outdated Android device (Sony Xperia T)

Download

Thanks in advance

It's the chartboost ads- If you're out of wifi range or don't have a single and you call for an ad, the scene will not change. I didn't have any issues because I have internet access so the ad was served and then the scene changed. I've experienced this issue before and it can be a little frustrating.

Ah ok cool. I can go ahead and do an official release for Friday, excluding iOS :(

Yep. Kind of a bummer. Perhaps @Dan_Chartboost and @BlackCloakGS can shed some light on this subject?

Yeah its really slow and having a massive impact on getting the game to actually play. I am also on my wifi, and there appears to be no difference or improvements. I have to wait around 1 minute + for the button to work, and then maybe an advert will appear.

There seems to be some delay between pressing the button then calling for the advert to display. It actually also displayed a random advert once, DURING game play because it felt like the adverts were catching up with the button press actions.

@jigglybean I just tried your game. I tried the first 6 levels without internet connection, and then with a connection. I did´t experience the issue you´re having at all.

Even though this is off topic, i have one suggestion for your game.
After you finish a level, it goes back to the main menu. So every time you have to tap Play, select a world, and then select the next level. It would be nice to have it go straight in to the level selection screen after finishing a level.

But overall a very nice game!

@NipaDidIt Thanks for trying the game. This is why I was thinking it could be my old Sony phone! lol But when other apps dont have the same problem as mine does, it just seems strange.

And yes, I will be changing that in an update as its very annoying. In addition to redesigning level 6. Its too hard and not really enjoyable. Some levels I have changed many times to make it a challenge, yet fun. Glad you like it :)

It works pretty well on my Samsung Galaxy S4. When I first press the start button I wait about 2 seconds before an ad comes rolling in. Pretty nice game but a bit too many ads for my taste. I also agree with @NipaDidIt (and yourself) about not going back to the start screen after each level.
