Trying to make an educational tug-of-war game

chadylakkischadylakkis Posts: 5Member

I am a designer/illustrator trying to make my first game. The game I am trying to create revolves around math and a tug-of-war mechanic. I can't seem to find any tutorials on this. I suppose I could try to modify a health bar approach but I am not sure if that is the best way to do it. If anyone is interested in working with me on this I would greatly appreciate the help.

Cheers,

Sounds like an interesting idea. Instead of a health bar I would begin with two actors on the same y axis that are constrained with one another... and after reading your other thread I will guess that Math Mechs is one actor, and Monsters is the other actor. When Math Mechs moves left, then Monsters moves left also. When Monsters moves right so does Math Mechs. Once you get this working you could add another constrained actor between the two for the rope.
