Best Option for Multiplayer?

I'm interested in making a multiplayer game. I've been using gamesalad for 2 years, and I think the next step would be to make an online multiplayer game. After a bit of research I haven't come across many resources on where to start or my options. Can anybody give advice about how to make a multiplayer game using gamesalad?
