Apple Device Icons & Screenshots Quick Tip

RowdyPantsRowdyPants Posts: 454Member, PRO

Engaging cover art can immediately relay app quality and nativeness.

There's a hidden resource within every Mac containing Apple crafted device and icon imagery.

It's located at: /SYSTEM/LIBRARY/CORESERVICES/CORETYPES.BUNDLE/CONTENTS/RESOURCES/

You can access this file path from the desktop menu 'Go' > '...Go to Folder' > then type or paste the path.

Inside you'll find artwork for almost every Apple platform dating back twenty years!

And many more! So whether you're creating screenshots with a MacBook bezel included or designing your app icon with the document page curl this should help get you going. Cheers!
