heads up @adent42 (and anyone it affects or may have an interest) if this hasn’t come across your screen yet. not sure if it means you guys need to tweak something...

Update to the new iOS GMA SDK for App Store compliance

Last December, Apple announced that the App Store will no longer accept new apps using UIWebView as of April 2020 and app updates using UIWebView as of December 2020.All the GMA SDK versions including and after 7.55.0 released on 4th Feb 2020, default to WKWebview and have removed UIWebView entirely. To ensure that your app complies with App Store’s requirement, we recommend that you:1)Update the GMA SDK to the most recent one (minimum version: 7.55.0) and release your app with it at the earliest convenience;2)If you are using AdMob mediation or Open Bidding, please review the list below with information on the latest minimum SDK of 3P ad networks that utilise WKWebView and make sure that the adapter versions match the SDK version.

Thanks. I need to double check, but the new RC should be compliant. Basically as part of the upgrade to Chartboost we had to upgrade IronSrc (which upgrades all the other associated networks).

We've upgraded to IronSrc 6.16.1 in the current RC and all the new adapters seem to match those versions or newer:

    AdColony 4.1.4

    AppLovin 6.11.6

    Chartboost 8.1.0

    Facebook 5.8.0

    InMobi 9.0.1

    Tapjoy 12.4.2

    Unity 3.4.2

    Vungle 6.5.3

I'd wait until the next RC release where we fix Admob. Also, I removed UIWebView from the current non-RC build so if they ding you for it, then it's because the ad networks are still using the old one and just won't work correctly when they try to show an ad.
