I did everything in the house and in the backyard.
Now I have an empty fishtank and a piece of paper with numbers on it (both part). I have a globe, which I can't figure out, because I have no clue which color to which switch and a closed door next to the stairs.
That's it.
I don't find any riddles and I can't do anything with the fish tank and the paper.
@Hunnenkoenig: The first part of the globe clue is in the upstairs study. It is currently hidden from view - but can be made visible again. You'll need to combine that clue with something in the kitchen to unlock the globe.
I finished the game yesterday myself, and spent over an hour running between scenes when I was stuck, when it finally occurred to me to check the rug! After that things made more sense. Loved it from start to finish. Probably the most polished game to come out of GS! Whether you like this type of game or not, it should be on your device to show you the quality every GS developer should aim for!
Congrats Joe - as everyone else has stated this is so well deserved.
I smile every time I see your game's logo on my iPhone, realising this was made with GameSalad - gives hope to us all. Your success is a testament to your fantastic talent.
Yes congratulations Its well deserved and many thanks for the demo's posted,so all the best to that million sales but watch out utopian is a contender for it as well,
@joe I am 1,000,000 points jealous of your effort. Great art, great sound, great game play, and you get a great payday, good for you, but I am still jealous, damn it. Not only are you doing well for yourself, but your efforts raise the viability of GS to a new level.
So how much money have you made from that? (After you gave away the 30% to apple and taxes and stuff.)

Just like to mention Joe, that after jumping from one project to another over the last months – "that one; no, that; this now; OK that one, etc; – kept changing my mind, I finally decided a few weeks ago on an adventure type game idea I had quite a while back. I doubt it'll be ready for at least four to six months, for interest. Needless to say the storyline is nothing like yours, nor will the graphics be. I'm not jumping on any bandwagon, honest!! (Although I must admit that I was swayed – and encouraged – by your marvellous success with an adventure game format...)
You are my hero, FMG! Congrats on the fantastic game. It has been said before but bears repeating...you worked hard for this and definitely deserve the success. (I bought it just now to support you!)
Beyond building a totally rocking game, what did you do to market it? Would be interesting to know.

If you mean the working room with the pair of scales by saying "study" there I can't do anything.
Tapping the scales gives me a text. Tapping the picture of the dog gives me a text. That's all.
In the kitchen I can't do anything. I opened the freezer and took the red thing and opened the drawer.
I assume, I have to do something with the alphabet then, but what? I have the paper with 42-34-15 but can't figure out, how that would fit to the globe, because it has 4 switches.
I agree, game is simply amazing, but the end was too close to the beginning. While playing Joe's game I didn't want it to finish. I would like to play it over and over But playing it for the third time is like watching the same movie for the third time
I didn't want to go over the 20MB download limit that AT&T imposes in the US. It eliminates people being able to download the game at a party, or a restaurant, or when they are hanging out with friends and somebody shows them the game. Potential customers would have to go home and download it over wifi.
I didn't want to have any obstacles to sales. I also made sure the game ran as fast as possible and loaded as fast as possible on every device, even the iPhone 2G. So I made the game with only 12 Actors and 15 Scenes.
But in doing that, I had to shorten the game considerably. Also, it is just me working on these games, and the artwork and the programming and the sound effects take forever.
When you are working on a game for months, without knowing if it will pay off or not, you have to make some compromises.
Because this game is successful, I feel much more confident in increasing the game size and spending the extra time on it. I can build of this one's success for the next one.
It's also hard to balance the difficulty. I have been playing these games all my life. The harder the better. But the iPhone is now exposing millions of people to games that never played games before.
So I get reviews that people finish the game in 15 minutes. But I have also received over 500 emails in the past 4 weeks from people saying that the game is too hard.
Plus everybody can just google a walkthrough if they ever get the least bit stuck. Which also adds to the speed of completion.
People generally like the artwork and the gameplay. They complain that the game is too short and that the story/ending are shabby. I totally agree. That will be corrected in the future!

Looking forward to the sequel.
Cheers
I have a sneaky feeling we could see the 1st GS millionare when your 2nd adventure comes out.

Probably I am just plain stupid.
I got stuck in the exact same place...ended up googling it...
Spolier alert:
go back to the study, in the secret hallway before it, there is the lever. Pull the lever...then go into the study... see what you find.
Thanks! I got it!
@Firemaple: You have one fricken twisted mind! :-P

I just finished the game.
Very nice!
I hope, tehre will be new chapters, because the ending is a bit....uhm... lazy? Sudden? Cheap?
I hope, it is just the promise for the adventure continued.
But playing it for the third time is like watching the same movie for the third time
