If you have to sell your months of work and blood and sweat for 99 cents, you try to keep it short and watch, if it hits.
In your case, you could have been positive on the success, even just because so many crappy "hidden object" apps are successful. You made an incredibly good looking app and the riddles are just perfect.
My only problem was, when I had to go back somewhere, where I already was and use the same thing for another riddle. That was not obvious for me.
I hope, your next game will be even better. I am waiting for it.
The ending could have been a bit better. Not longer or more theatralic or so, but more interesting. The game had a nice scary mood with a feel of a great mistery. The ending didn't seem to fit this scenery and I was a bit disappointed, because of the happy yada-yada bang-bang back to the future style of it. It totally broke the mood for me.
Congrats. I hope my next game does as well as yours friend. I think not having the GS logo also helped out a bit but the game was great anyways so that could had been the money maker anyway. Good luck wit your next game can't wait to play it.
Before you make a game that is LONGER, you have already proved that the game mechanics work, why not consider a game that evolves and gets longer not so much by new scenes etc but new things that can happen. Of course you need zero input from me, but having made a lot of slot games, with bonus rounds, I started to make the bonus rounds self evolve, if the mansion has NEW things that occur when other things have occurred then the game grows. to the point that someone here said they did not want to quit. They like the images and got comfortable with the environment. You are the only person I know that could pull that off and then the END of the game, well it might never come, adding the length and complexity to an evolving game would be very cool. Again I apologize for my thoughts but I too did not want the game to end, and was a bit miffed that it did. Give it a think. No matter congrats on the success of the game, you do yourself proud, now just remember after the first million you have to give some of the second to all the people who said nice things, so NICE THINGS NICE THINGS times 1000....*)

Did you take them yourself or are they stock photos?

Does the game has resolution independence on?
