ok I just got it. Using tshirt's tutorial of course...
On the info.plist you will have to do it in the GameSalad_viewer-info.plist
    Here is the tutorial:
Hope it works for you too.

First of all, did you download the gs viewer.9? did you delete the viewer in you device? then did you create the provisioning and follow the tutorial exactly as it is with the only exception of the info.plist. That is exactly what I did and I put it in my 4 devices and they are working.

  • 777ideas.com777ideas.com Member, PRO Posts: 895
Code Sign error: Provisioning profile 'GameSalad' specifies the Application Identifier 'com.newreally*************appsmade****.GameSalad' which doesn't match the current setting 'com.newreally*********appsmadeby***.GameSalad '

I substituted my name for **

that is what I did... I created a new provisioning called Gamesalad09. I can tell that there is the problem. You created some time ago one for the GS.8 or however the name was. Now you have to create one for #9.

I am sorry kirk but that is as far as I can go, I don't know what else to tell you. Your best option is wait for tshirt's response. Buena suerte.

    Lets start over here.

    1. did you download the new viewer off of the site? (http://gamesalad.com/products/creator Go down to testing is key)

Ok go into the iphone dev center

    1. Make a new app id for the viewer
    2. Go into provisioning and make a new DEVELOPMENT provisioning profile. Enter the profile name, select your certificate, the app id you just made, and then the device that you want it to go onto
    3. Download the provisioning that you just made and drag it into Xcode, the organizer should come up.
    4. Plug in your device and wait until it connects to your comp.
    5. Open up the xcode file for the GS viewer 0.9
    6. Select DEVICE and RELEASE at the top left corner
    7. Click build at the top and wait for it to download

    This should work hopefully

Are your certificates set up correctly?

To be honest, don't see the problem here...

I'm having trouble myself, I watched your video but got stuck at code signing identity. it doesn't show GS, I'm not sure what I did wrong.

Do you have the latest SDK installed. That was my problem. Now I am waiting about 2 hours to get it installed and then should be ok from there.

I did not looked at this before and it gave me a problem I dont know if this helps but let me throw it there. When you change the bundler identifier, make sure you changed to the one you just created. it should be the second division.

You will know that is the problem because when you load xcod it will say at the top that sdk is missing. I am pretty sure that is my problem. Sucks b/c I have to use my wireless to update because my router is in my master closet and my wife is asleep. Now going to take forever.
