Hey there guys,
Many have been selling templates these days, so I decided to give it a try. As much as I want to give this template to everyone for free, times are really tough and I am in need of money to buy artwork. So to keep it fair im keeping it at a price of only $5.
This is an iCopter type game template, and as it may not be as complex as Utopians templates, it definitely can give some gs beginners a head start to a pretty decent game.
Here is a small video showing the template. Sorry about the bad video quality, as well as it being disproportional and looking laggy. I can assure you that it looks much better when actually on a device
You will receive two projects in this package. One will be a standard classic copter game. The other one will be a much fresher and newer copter game, with cool bonus power-ups and random earthquake shakes appearing. Right now it includes 3 power-ups but more can be easily added, I just want to give you all a head start.
What cool things will you learn from this template?
-Making an endless style gameplay, increasing in difficulty as score/time goes up.
-Implementing pause in your game.
-Making use of the random function: randomizing actors, spawned walls, etc
-Making your actor invincible for a given time (forcefield powerup)
-Making your actor shoot for a given time (laser powerup)
-Shrinking your actor for a given time (Shrink powerup)
-A shaky earthquake feel every once in a while
Right now I am just making a few more tweeks, and putting some last touches in there, but it should be ready in a bit. I will let you know when exactly it will be available for purchase soon.
Again, Im sorry if its not at a level of complexity where I should charge for it, but I guess its being targeted more to beginners. All feedback is appreciated.

To all who are interested, I am still fixing one last thing, so the template may be ready later today. If interested you can let me know by emailing me at artonskyblue(at)gmail(dot)com, although I will not make you pay until later today when its fully complete
Also the game increases in difficulty as score goes up, so changing the spawned walls to another kind of object is really easy. For example, after score reaches lets say 500, rather then spawning walls, you can do something like spawn circles instead. I received a question asking that so I just wanted to make it clear to everyone.
I really think that $5 is worth the purchase though, especially for those just getting started. Buying the sounds in there costed me more than $5. And also, if you just replace the graphics a bit, maybe change the concept to a jetpack game with a cute character, then throw in ads in there and set the game as free, I think you can make way more than $5.

But remember guys, just because you'd be getting a icopter template doesn't mean you have to stick with the icopter concept. There are SO many concepts that could come out of this. I can just already vision someone like MagoNicolas creating something along the lines of e-pig jet pack from this.
I want to keep track of who wants the template so please email me if you do. I won't ask you to pay yet, I just want to have you in my contact list so that when the template is ready I can let you all know. Don't be shy everyone

Another reason being because I have submitted it today for FREE just to show people how it plays on an actual device
the icopter game is now live on the app store for FREE obviously. I uploaded it to the app store to show people what they will be getting before purchase.
