Wow, I've got some good competition!!! I don't know if I'll be able to finish my game by Friday however, because my game has lots of artwork and my artist is swamped... Who knows... Great job though, I would love to see that sell in the AppStore!!
Summary of the development. I was working on converting the Tigerfish iPad, I follow the forum daily, so I saw the topic of stormystudio. I thought to participate. I had the idea to do something with clay just did not know what. I understand that the theme was the moon, perfect for a play with clay. :-) I wanted a simple casual game, I used the movement behavior from alien conquerors GS template to the the player's ship, and the movement of the alien for flying saucer. the remainder developed with what is already learned. -the process of programming and modeling was simultaneously -first the first -After the tiles of the terrain. the major difficulty here was to remove the seams and make the tiles of high level appears more rarely. -made the towers, I tried animation here but weighed in engine. -modeled other enemy ships, but I did not have time to put in the game because of the holidays with my son, he did not live with me and I could not miss this opportunity to live with my son. -I did most of the sound effects with my mouth! :-). -most fun was doing the final boss, I hope you like it ( or not and destroy this evil creature ) -many adHoc versions to test, 7 at all -I can only say that GameSalad is an excellent tool, could create a pretty cool game and in less than a week. -I already have plans for new bosses and enemy ships for the next up-dates depends on the performance of the game in the appstore. And I await anxiously the next contest! Thank you everyone for the comments and compliments. Marcos Riffel
