Here's an update about The Unofficial GameSalad Textbook...

A common question about the textbook is - "Can I get a promo code?"

I'm out of promo codes! I'm waiting for the next version of GameSalad before I update the book again.

Another common question about the textbook is - "Can I get a PDF version?"

The PDF and ePub versions were discontinued. I made the textbook an iTunes App Store exclusive. After looking at the roadmap, maybe in the Summer things will change. I'm planning to bring back the printed version. Also, if the GameSalad Marketplace is friendly to PDFs, I might bring back the PDF.

But for now, if you think it's not fun to read from an iPhone / iPod Touch screen, you might want to try a sample...

Critique is a free app that's similar to the textbook app. At first I didn't like reading books from mobile devices either. Yet, I think the app is pretty cool. When I want to read information in the textbook, I usually use the app. It's quick and easy for me, as it's like a second monitor. I don't even have a printed copy.
