Thanks guys! and yeah the arrows gonna be smaller, im using R.I. so im still playing with the sizes. Also playin around with makin look like a ice chunk or icicle like suggested
Thanks mago, thats how i origianlly had it set up, but i think its alot move fun like this. I love the indicator and trying to catch the character whne you make a huge jump and hes in the air for a while. I plan on adding achievemetns and stuff for height and ect so i think this adds a nice element of difficulty to it.

Yes, it adds difficulty but My opinion is that people don't like that.. Is it weird to stop seeing the main actor for some time (I have that in one of my games and I need to fix it) Cheers.
hmm... I like it with the extra camera control, but suddenly the game will be a lot easier as it looks like you could keep going up...and your further above the ground so could survive longer... how about zooming the camera out (interpolating the camera x and y size depending how fast and how high the penguin goes?)... a bit like Tiny Wings works when you move onto the next island but not quite as extreme..
Although that will probably cause some major head aches with the touch drawing controls...you'd have to work out the offset depending how far zoomed out you were...
Thanks for the sugestions stormy. I personally liked it with no camera control and idicator, i though it looked real cool on the device. I as well think it might be to easy with the camera control, i planned on adding acheivements for different heights and airtimes and stuff, so that might kill that.
Im gonna look into the camera interpolate right now as well, but like you said im thinking the offests gonna throw it all off. Ill ahve to play around with it. Thanks for the suggestions

If your going to do camera control (which I suggest you should, or atleast keep it as an option for the player), you should add a height indicator to show how high the player is, so they know if they are too close to the ground (a.k.a 0km, or something like that)... Achievements would also be great in the game... Nice menu btw...

Im starting to add all the game obsticles and objects and all that now. I wanted to make sure the physcis was set up perfect before i started anything else, as there would be no point if the physics were crap!
Hi John .. looking great .. has a nice 'joy' feel to it .. and 'magical' particles. I have difficulty in getting them to work as I want them so I am doubly impressed as they fit the game perfectly.

its endless right now. the score will always be adding as long as your still alive with the score adding faster depending on if yoru higher. theres gonna be a height meter in the hud. theres gonna be powerups and the ice cube you hti will be something to add to the score. over time the game objects will increase and get harder and such with more gaps to go threw, ect

Per Mago's suggestion heres a test with no above screen indicator, and camera control on the Y. Which way do you guys like better?

been super busy, but back to working on this though.
added some blink animations for the character, and started adding some game objects
