Also guys i realised it got a bit complex and possibly hard to visualise your own game with the background actors in this template - so i had a look for some art around the net and made a quick video to see what it could look like! not for reuse of course! recognise the platforms?
temporary till i can spend some time with the art myself. Pixel art is definitely the way to go for my next game, look at those colours in the BG!

sure i could have worded this a bit nicer, but the fact is every day people come here with NO experience having no clue what theere doing trying to sell stuff. Were not talkjing about him making a game and me shooting it down, that would be really rude fo me. But he is trying to SELL A TEMPLATE, with no experience, no dev account, no testing, ect. Its not shooting someone down if they refuse to see there peoblems and attempt to fix them. Dont try to sell something if you have no clue if it works! and like i said in a earlier post if your just thinking something will work because another dev used it and you havent tried yourself, thats the stupid and most unexperienced thing i ever heard. Its so funny how people want to sell something and make a quick buck, but when somone starts to state facts they get offeneded hahahha. but welcome to gamesalad non the less!

Look. Coming here after a week of GS and the forums, and trying to just sell a template that has been done before is a bit odd. That is why he is saying this. He is NOT being a dick, you just don't understand why this is an issue. He has little experience in gs, I could be wrong, but if he joined the forums when he started than yes. And Now, everyone EVEN newcomers see that people are making money off of templates. So they decide to make one without realizing what they are selling. It has been done before and he is new, and no dev account. ALL templates show the viewer on their template. you can't expect to get much sales if you dont know how it runs on the iphone.
TO be fair i've made not much - i know i was going to get complaints and i understand that..just not sure why its continuing. The good things is ive gotten so many kind emails from customers that im not too bothered

I think the thing people have a problem with is somebody new paying and entrusting his learning experience with something made by someone else who is also new. They will be learning bad habits and thinking that because they have paid for it, it is the most effient way of doing it.
I mentioned i had a look at another professional running template and the actual platforming aspect was very similar. there was nothing else to the templates so i cant compare with everything mines does.
Drop down list of behaviours...drag and drop - im surprised gamesalad isnt as popular as powerpoint..Don't mind certain people. Gamesalad is as easy as you think. Just use common sense.
I'll also add that anyone can read i have been here for a week. i've not once tried to hide it - but to make out like my template must be retarded - which is the effect of the repeated posts here - (because gamesalad is so complex) - without even having looked at my template just makes a hypocritical hater im (not so) afraid.

Hi guys sorry but the template is no longer for sale - I am going to work on an update for my customers as promised! No worries but i don't need to sell the template anymore ( )so i will have to thank you for your interest and decline any future paypal payments! Ok i spoke too soon with the whole 'FLAWLESS!!' thing as I have spotted a few bugs and will be sending an email to you lot (in a few days mind-in a bit of trouble at uni) with a version that HAS(!) been tested on iphone+gamesalad viewer:
*Hi-Score not continuing occasionally after killing enemy *Pause+score occasionally not returning to top (straight away) after stomping to your death *issue with multi-touch - jump release initiating a stomp
+ will be scaling the difficulty up slower - i cant even get past 11000! Which takes about 5 mins + re-labelling all the rules + deleting unused attributes, images and actors + opportunity to change background image past certain scores
As it is, currently its size is approx 10mb to download and memory usage totaly is 30 - game engine like 8 - so so far so good but of course with your own game you may have more images...or perhaps your just having fun tweaking around with the template either way, ill be in your inbox
