1. Able to "pin" actors - when using gravity setting an attribute to accelerate in the opposite direction just to keep them from falling (when you need it to move as well) seems odd. Being able to pin the actor to the scene in a specific area (middle or at ends of, say, a rectangle) would be nice (would make a pinball game much easier to create!)
2. Info palette - give us useful info when clicking on an actor in a scene - like X/W co-ordinates, toggle visibility and actor info that we don't want to leave the scene for.
3. Preview on animation behaviour
4. grouping of attributes under game or scene list.
5. Able to move coded attributes easier from one project to the next (copy and paste doesn't seem to work most times and drag and drop even messes it up) maybe a way to export rule sets that packages up any attributes you may have added.
6. stop it from kernel panicking my machine and locking it up whenever I have more than one project open and run them a couple of times. (okay it's beta but it's scary!)
Macview: I never get kernel panics. I think you've got something wrong with your machine. An application should not be able to cause your machine to crash. Check your disk for errors. It's the most likely problem. Also, heat can cause kernel panics.
I have thought of another thing! We can currently change the screen resolution, have landscape and portrait games etc. However I would like to change this to be scene specific so we can a mix all in one game.
- Activity wheel indicator selection - from (off - custon, load bar, etc.) - Scene transition selector - (fade, bounce, spin, custom, etc) - More prebuilt library sample features - (to start games) - Payment system (monthly) or promo reduction for events for GSPro (20%)
#1 Version Binding of your project to a particular GS version release so as to not have backwards or forwards compatibility woes.
#2 Inheritance between actors: Wolf isa Animal where Wolf would gain all the attributes and rules of Animal PLUS new abilities very specific to a Wolf.
#3 It'd be neat if we could use location services and microphone input.
i did an example of how to zoom the camera here... http://gamesalad.com/game/play/58710 but i don't have an iPhone so i can't say what the performance is like

I can't match my intro and my main music together without a glitch.

A ruler, as I mentioned in the other topic. It is a must have!
I just wonder if it will be added or if someone has managed to get the process working in GS.

doing a search brings up a few other examples but I've not used them
http://gamesalad.com/browse/search?searchType=games&q=zoom
you can control the camera from a controller sprite instance I think.. that's how i did it anyway
Because almost a year has passed and NONE of them is done..
Is the situation really that bad?
Which was the iPad
I'm still holding out for pro at $500 and the moon on a stick. We'll see what happens
