Awesome. It's always fun to test the game on the device for the first time :)

First of all - hello :)

I have for a time now played around with some iphone ideas and thought 'why not try it out for real'. I stepped over Gamesalad and became more eager to try, since this seems to incredible easy.

My biggest concern is, that I have to buy a mac or macbook to be able to run Gamesalad - but mostly my concern is about the money it would cost me, not concerned about using the mac, since I work with graphics and have for years, I also use to work on mac and loved it.

BUT again, it's a lot of money invested. Without saying if I could make a good game or not, what re your experiences. Was it worth it for YOU?

    Thanks a bunch :)

I see I'm WAY too late to respond and that you've already dived into the world of GS, but I have to answer the initial question with a resounding YES!!!!

GS is the easiest, most intuitive game dev kit out there and it's a whole load of fun. My first game may not have made me rich but it paid for my GS subscription several times over and it's still earning money daily... WELL worth it!!!! Not to mention the awesome community and the fact that you are free to concentrate purely on design, without pesky code!

I have been putting myself through a game programming course merely because I want to do 3D stuff... but let me tell you, if a tool like GS came along with a 3rd dimension, I'd be straight there (hint hint, GS devs), and I'll certainly be using GS again for iPhone 2D stuff in the future!!!

So, in a nutshell, welcome and have fun, loads of it!!!

Thanks Poly for the nice welcome :)
I can't say I made a game yet (still working on a couple though lol .. I need to finish up one thing before starting a new one ...) - but what I got in return so far already made it all worth it ^_^ And I'm having tons of fun. Isn't that the most important thing?

    Fun keeps you young :P
