    great template...tempted to buy it just to see how you've set up the rotation... I'm guessing there's some constraints going on but then your achieving a great 60 fps so not sure... unless you've cracked rotating the camera...reminds me of the nice rotating camera in Puzzle Dozer...

    Good luck with sales...its a real bargain..

    This Template is Awesome! Already Purchased it, The only Thing I notice, is when you click twice, it kinda mess up a little. But it is not difficult to Solve I think.

    The Solution should be to only allow touch when he is colliding with a block.

    Yeah it is possible to change direction in mid air and he will slide until he hits a block.

    I left this in on purpose cause i liked the ability to change direction mid air but if you want to only rotate after he has fallen its an easy fix by wrapping the rotate in a rule "if mask is overlapping or colliding with actor of type wall"

    In the Mask actor.

    Make a self (or game) boolean and call it canFlip.

    If Mask overlaps or collides with actor with tag wall change canFlip to true (now open up otherwise) and do a change attribute canFlip = false.

    Then wrap the 4 rules that have the accelerate rules with the flips into a rule and make the rule if canFlip = true.

    Now the Mask will only accelerate if your touching a wall actor.

    This doesn't Work,
    Because with this, character should START touching a Wall, can't start falling.

    Also, when you rotate, and fall touching a wall, you can rotate.

    Maybe I'm doing something wrong, would be great to have an update of this template with this feature.

    Sent you a build...i think you could also add if motion linear velocity < 10 (all 4 directions) to stop it rotating will sliding down a wall.

    Hi guys,

    I'm using this template within my game, and its brilliant.

    However, just wondering if any of you can help me this this little issue.

    Basically I would like to put a frame around the game play area that isnt affected by the camera - currently, if I put the frame layer on the game play area it moves off screen as the character moves - is there a way to keep the frame on screen all the time and not affected by the camera?

    so i bought the template and its great! it saved me a lot of mess ups but now im having trouble changing things. i tried changing the background image and now it puts the view in the very bottom corner of my background image

    if i wanted to create a third section to touch that flips the screen 180 degrees how would i write it? i tried copying the code for the right and left ones and just changing it to +2 so it flips but its relative to the scene. i cant make it relative to the actor cause then everything gets messed up. help?

    You would need to change the game.camera to +180 in the left and -180 in the right flip actors (its set to 90 atm).
