How local are the toplists on App Store?

Woke up this morning and hit the app store toplist. Our beading app for kids called Kids Beads was situated at a lovely 25th most downloaded Kids Game.

But how local is this list? I live in Sweden so I see some swedish games there as well. Anybody what it looks like in USA for example and where I can see that?
