It's funny how everyone is enjoying my GS nub dome...lol just goes to demonstrate how far you can grow with lots of hard work effort and detailed study. I believe the key to my growth was not getting bogged down in trying to create some epic game quickly and simply copy and paste stuff but I spent a year and studied, dug in and made a bunch of prototype projects that featured different types of game mechanics. No of those were ever released but were invaluable in my evolution in becoming a power user with GS. I didn't concern myself with releasing a game, I focused simply on learning and nothing else. Now I am able to make any game or utility I can imagine. I had a long term plan. I wanted to be a game developer and knew I was here to stay and reaching my long term goals meant a complete understanding of the tool. I have no intention of ever quitting game development, if I get 1 million downloads or 100 I'll keep make things that stir in my brain for years to come. For me it's a creative outlet and I enjoy the challenges. I firmly believe do what you love, even if it's a second job, create what inspires you and eventually success will find you in some measure.
Well said Dave it's certainly an advantage to have a game idea and have the logic to start creating it which only comes after you've spent a certain amount of time with GS.
You have the aim toggle over the top of the targets that you are aiming at. On a PC with a mouse its not noticeable, but on an iphone the thumb would cover up the moving target which would be an annoyance i assume.
Suggestion:
You could have the tank aim by the user sliding their finger/mouse along the screen up and down at any position. Also creating a small line that indicated where the tank is aiming and where the shot will go reduces the necessity to fire shot after shot to determine where the shot will go. Also, possibly having targets that are 'good guys' and if shot, you lose.

This project is not being developed. It was a demo I made years ago. This is an old thread resurrected.
