★★★ DBA New Tool : Jumping Game Level Editor ★★★

Hi All,
Just adding some finishing touches to a new tool we've been working on.
It's a level editor for GameSalad, which enables you to build 'MegaJump' style games super quick. The graphics in this demo are for demonstration purposes only.
The game engine includes lots of nice Vertical mixed parallax scrolling for a sense of depth.

With the editor you can place coins, stars and power-ups etc easily, then view/test your creation in GameSalad. Just 'Paint-in' where you want the objects, then click build!. The tool allows you to create dozens of levels quickly.

Any ideas for a name for the tool? We'll give a copy of Scene and Project merger tools to the best name.

Here's a quick demo of an example game built with the tool. We'll do a video of the tool in action soon.

    That looks great!
    Are we talking about the video itself (as in a game type of name) or a tool like the project merger?

    How about: (for a type of game name, if that's what you want, sorry im confused)

    Coin Catcher
    Jungle Flyer

    For tool:

    Easy Editor
    Scene Editor
    Level Creator
    Paint-In Editor
    Brushstroke Editor
    Simple Builder Tool


    Ill come up with more, but I am about to become busy. I'll check back later on.

    JumpStar/StarJump (Level Editor) ? (might go nicely with a star jumping person icon as in "I'm doing a star jump")

    That's pretty cool. Does it only work for vertical jumper games like this, or does it work for other types, like platformers and such?

    Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
    @Braydon, the video above shows the 'result' of using the tool. You would then add whatever graphics you wanted.
    The base 'demo' graphics I used are for visual purposes only, you can add what ever graphics or theme you wanted to the final game.
    With the tool, you just super quickly design the positions of the Coins or Gems, Stars (points awarded, height boosts etc etc) that you want the player to collect. Then you export it out as a level for GameSalad with all the rules and logic in place (as seen in the basic video above).

    @SlickZero; Yeah, this tool only creates vertical jumping games (sorry m8), but we started work on a Platform builder a while ago, based on Darrens Platformer Template. We'll have to get back into that project. It'll be a super slick way to build platformer games in GS.

    Loving this tool, super easy to make games with this one.

    The main character is from a new art pack coming soon over at DBA, we will have 15 character sets available made by Sprite Attack.

    Loving the idea, but I miss hearing your voice explaining the vids ;)

    I would say just a simple Level/Jump editor :)

    Great looking tool. I wonder would it be possible to create a similar level editor where you can choose a project for which to make levels with. It would be hard but I think you guy with your skills could do it.

    Seeing as the character in the video looks a bit like Indiana Jones and we are all indie developers why not call it something like

    GS Game Creator Indie Jump.
