Cant wait, been following this on Facebook with great interest for months now. They've screened a fe viewings now and have some really positive reviews, can't wait till they release the dvds etc.
Yeah it looks good. I posted a clip on our site where Edmund McMillen (Super Meat Boy guy) talks about their online game Aether. I embedded the game too. I played it a while ago before watching that clip, so it's interesting to hear his explanation of it and then play it again.
I think making games more personal/emotional is an interesting direction to go in. Maybe we normally think of games as an entertainment where you 'do things'. As opposed to an outlet for communicating something like with a song or a book.
On their website they say it's available on itunes and steam june12.
I've been waiting for more than 6 month, and then it says "not available in your country" damn' it, i guess i have to wait for another 6 month before my little country (denmark) get's it..

Cool movie... man a lot of those guys were weird though. The guy who made Brade became a millionaire and he was depressed cause people didn't like the game for the reasons he wanted them to like it... wild
Got a long flight ahead of me, will download and watch.

Just watched it with one of the guys who did a case study on a game developer for the movie. Until we got kicked out of the student union for unscheduled movie viewing -- or something like that -- it was a great movie! And yeah, the developers profiled aren't exactly psychologically or emotionally healthy... fair warning.
Yes, yes I am. But I'm not exactly psychologically or emotionally healthy
If you genuinely aint, get better soon fella ... If you are, drop in from time to time ... i ... i ... i'm just going to go ahead and say it ... i miss you sheepy!
Loved the film...obviously really interesting from a game makers perspective, but also a well made documentary either way. Nicely filmed, edited, sound the whole sha-bang.
Found it fascinating with a sort of on going theme of depression throughout with fear of failure, fear of success, fear of finishing, fear of not finishing... still very inspiring, I'd love to buy my parents a house.
oh @quantumsheep good to see you here..not been round much myself lately...still gamesalading (that's a word right?) , are you?...
I might see it..not sure yet...I've heard of few of you guys mention the unhealthy lifestyle ? Like they don't sleep and eat pizza and drink coke all the time? No girlfriends? Just curious haha

Shadows Peak is an atmospheric psychological horror that explores the dark side of a player.

The craziest looking guy(artist on meatboy), whos artwork looks like a glimpse inside a axe murderers head, is actually the most normal.
Maybe cause he has an outlet.
